A cozy, slightly odd hero collector. Send them out, read what happened, decide again.

About the game

Rune Legion is built around one question: is it fun to give a stubborn hero a rough intention, let them wander off for hours, and then read what they got up to? The camp is the only screen. Heroes live in it as flippable trading cards — portrait, level and stats on the front, equipment slots and attribute points on the back.

Expeditions have no timer. You pick a direction — gold, treasure or training — and the hero stays out until you call them home. Every two hours a deterministic event checks one of their stats against the road. Poetic heroes write poetic logs; grumpy ones complain. Failures cost yield, never lives or gear.

The merchant sells blind hero packs: a face-down card lands in your collection, and flipping it is the reveal. Five percent of recruits come out as foil. It changes nothing mechanically and everyone wants one anyway.

What you actually do

  1. 01

    Heroes as cards

Three faces per card: identity, management sheet, and a shared deck back for unrevealed recruits. Flip with a tap, equip with drag and drop.

  2. 02

    Expeditions without a clock

Out until recalled. Full offline progress, no cap, no penalty for coming back late.

  3. 03

    Logs with a voice

Personality affixes colour every entry. Talents and quirks nudge the odds. Highlights are kept; the rest is condensed into daily summaries.

  4. 04

    STR / DEX / INT

Familiar attributes, a transparent formula, and a requirement curve that keeps failures rare but never gone.

  5. 05

    Blind packs and foils

Buy a face-down hero, reveal it yourself. Rare holo variants, purely cosmetic.
