A dark medieval idle RPG about one character and a kingdom eaten by blight.

About the game

The Blighted Crown has corrupted the kingdom and the rulers who once wore it. You start in the crumbling borderlands with worn tools and an empty bank, and work Act by Act toward the fallen royal seat.

Blighted Crown is built for players who like Melvor-style idle RPGs but want a darker world and fewer menus. One primary activity runs at a time — mining, fishing, smithing, alchemy, or combat — and it keeps running while the tab is closed. Every gathering skill feeds a production skill, every production skill feeds combat, and combat returns rare materials to the loop.

Combat is decided before it starts. You read an enemy's max hit, set an auto-eat threshold, pick a loadout, and the fight resolves on its own. Death costs consumables, never equipment. Regions, dungeons and Act bosses gate new resource tiers; older regions stay relevant through Action Mastery, Hunts and Unique drops.

What you actually do

  1. 01

    Sixteen connected skills

Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Foraging, Smithing, Crafting, Cooking, Alchemy, Runecrafting and seven combat skills — each with at least two links into the others.

  2. 02

    Combat you prepare, not play

Hit chance, expected duration, food consumption and risk are forecast before you commit. Then it runs, online or offline, with identical rules.

  3. 03

    Action Mastery

Every single action you repeat gets faster, cheaper or more generous. Old resources never become worthless.

  4. 04

    Acts and regions

A kingdom in stages: borderlands, drowned mires, gallows yards, the crown reliquary. Each Act adds enemies, materials, a dungeon and a boss.

  5. 05

Quality of life from day one

XP per hour, ETAs, stop conditions, a full item Codex with sources and uses, and a detailed offline report.
